Standort Tirol berichtet über Entwicklungen zur Aufbereitung von Schnee- und Eisdaten aus Satellitendaten, die ENVEO im Rahmen von Projekten der Europäischen Weltraumorganisation ESA, der Europäischen Kommission und der Österreichischen Agentur Für Luft- und Raumfahrt durchführt.

On the occasion of 50 years of space exploration the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) and the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (bmvit) hosted the Austrian Space Day 2011 at the Technical Museum in Vienna. Among the high profile guests was the Minister for Infrastructure of Austria, Doris Bures, and other members of the governmental departments. ENVEO was invited to give a Key Note Presentation on Monitoring of the Cryosphere from Space, one of the core competences of ENVEO.
