CoReH2O was just presented at the User Consultation Meeting for the Earth Explorer-7 mission, organized by the European Space Agency (ESA), as one of three selected mission. AlpSAR Campaign February 2013

The third AlpSAR campaign for testing the Syntetic Aperture Radar (SAR) "SnowSAR" as preparation for the Earth Explorer-7 CoReH2O mission over the Austrian Alps is planned for 18 - 26 February 2013. For further information on the AlpSAR project follow this link.
AlpSAR Campaign November 2012 / January 2013

Two successful AlpSAR campaigns were carried out from 19 - 24 November 2012 and from 08 - 25 January 2013 over the Austrian Alps. In collaboration with scientists from the Federal Research and Training Centre for Forests, Natural Hazards and Landscape (BfW), the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL, NASA), and the Boise State University in Idaho, USA, ENVEO organized field measurements at three selected test sites in partly high alpine terrain.
